Sept. 11, 2012—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes has released its schedule of training courses that will be offered during the fourth quarter of 2012.

Sherwin-Williams said its fourth quarter training courses, which begin in October, consist of several classroom, Web and hands-on sessions at the company’s training centers throughout the U.S. The courses focus on topics including painter certification, AWX Performance Plus waterborne system, color adjustment and blending, commercial fleet refinishing, accurate estimating and workshop efficiency.

Visit Sherwin-Williams’ website for additional details regarding the training sessions, including specific locations, dates and course descriptions.

Sherwin-Williams said it recently converted its hands-on training classes from the use of printed manuals to digital textbooks. The new tablet training format is in place for the company’s series of e-learning courses.

"Converting all of our training manuals from paper to digital has provided our employees and customers with an enhanced learning experience," said Rod Habel, director of training operations for Sherwin-Williams. "It has established Sherwin-Williams Automotive as a category leader in training practices and demonstrated our environmental consciousness by eliminating the use of thousands of pages of paper each year."
