2012 Makeover Grant Winners Receive Donation from Ingersoll Rand

Feb. 18, 2013

Feb. 18, 2013—Ingersoll Rand has donated $10,000 to the collision repair programs at Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City, Mo., and Manhattan Area Technical College in Manhattan, Kan., the winners of the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 2012 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.

Each school’s collision instructor was able to select $5,000 in Ingersoll Rand products.

“In many cases students are required to purchase their own tools or even share amongst each other in the shop,” said Kimberly Versaw, industrial technologies marketing specialist for Ingersoll Rand. “Ingersoll Rand finds it imperative that students receive quality tools at a great price in order to fill their toolbox for future roles in the automotive, agricultural, or welding industries. The Ingersoll Rand Student Program is designed to do just that, and with the help of the Collision Repair Education Foundation, more schools can provide top-notch tools in the classroom.”

Ingersoll Rand also donated mechanic gloves to the Education Foundation.
