June 25, 2013—Safeco Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Insurance company, began selling personal lines of insurance products in the state of Massachusetts this month.
Safeco is now providing Massachusetts residents with auto, home, motorcycle, watercraft, RV and other specialty insurance products through 400 independent agencies throughout the state.

Seattle–based Safeco now provides personal auto insurance policies through a network of more than 10,000 independent insurance agencies nationwide.
