June 17, 2011 — DuPont Protection Technologies recently introduced a photo contest to showcase workers using Tyvek garments to stay safe and clean.
The winner of the competition will receive a NASCAR Racing Experience weekend trip for two. The runner up will get a $500 American Express gift card and the next two runners up will each receive a $250 American Express gift card.
Officially named the DuPont Tyvek “Dirty Work” Photo Contest, the competition encourages participants to submit photos of themselves in their filthiest state wearing a Tyvek garment. The photos will be shown in an online gallery and the winners will be announced in November at the National Safety Council Congress and Expo in Philadelphia.
“Tyvek offers lightweight and durable protection to workers around the world as they perform hard work in rough conditions,” said William Weber, vice president of DuPont Protection Technologies, North America. “We encourage Tyvek wearers to show us how they use Tyvek garments to protect themselves from on-the-job hazards.”
