NABC opens board nominations

July 16, 2012

July 16, 2012—The National Auto Body Council (NABC) is now accepting nominations for its 2012 board of directors.

The NABC said it will fill seven vacant positions on its board, as the following board members’ terms are scheduled to end this year: Domenic Brusco, Bruce Cooley, Bill Garoutte, Dwight Howard, Michael Quinn, Nick Notte, and Rick Tuuri.

Board candidates must be members of the organization or designated representatives of member companies in order to be included on the voting ballot, the NABC said. Candidates can be nominated either by themselves, or by three other NABC members.

Board nominations can be submitted to the NABC by mail, email or fax. All nominations are due Aug. 11, 60 days prior to the election. Visit autobodycouncil.org for details to submit a nomination.

The NABC’s board election will be held Oct. 10 during its annual meeting in New Orleans, in conjunction with the 2012 Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW). All NABC members will receive a ballot that includes the names of each board candidate 30 days prior to the meeting.
