Collision Hub to provide live coverage of SkillsUSA

June 9, 2011

June 9, 2011 — Collision Hub, a networking and multimedia marketing website for the collision industry, announced Thursday it will provide live video coverage of this year’s SkillsUSA Championships.

The event, set for June 23 in Kansas City, will take place in conjunction with the 47th annual National Leadership and Skills Conference. In the championships, more than 5,600 top career and technical education students will compete hands-on in 94 trade, technical and leadership fields. Collision Hub will cover the collision repair and automotive refinishing technology contests.

“If you are looking for strong leadership, self-pride, confidence, and dedication, you will see this in the contestants with SkillsUSA,” said State Farm’s Darrell Andrews, the SkillsUSA National CRT Chairman. “The energy is catching and to see the contestants performing at this level shows what the next generation has to offer.”

Kristen Felder, CEO and founder of Collision Hub, said her organization is the exclusive video broadcaster of the competition.

“We hope to highlight the competition and skill this group of future technicians brings to our industry,” Felder said. “The combined resources of our sponsor network allow Collision Hub to continue making an impact in the collision repair industry through networking and multi-media coverage of the international collision repair community.”

Numerous organizations including 3M, PPG, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Ford and others are sponsoring the broadcast. For sponsorship opportunities and more information on Collision Hub, go to collisionhub.com.
