Roy Kent Joins Federated Auto Parts Management Team

Jan. 21, 2014—Roy Kent has joined the Federated Auto Parts management team as chief strategy officer and president of new business development, the company announced Monday.

“We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with an industry veteran with Roy’s vast aftermarket experience,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “Roy’s knowledge in all channels of our industry will greatly benefit the Federated organization. Roy joins us from Federal-Mogul where he held a variety of responsibilities during his tenure, most recently serving as vice president of wholesale distribution.”

Kent will oversee several operations for Federated Auto Parts, including membership development, vendor relations and strategic planning.

Staunton, Va.-based Federated Auto Parts is an auto parts distribution and marketing organization.
