April 11, 2012—ALLDATA has entered into a strategic agreement with CARSTAR Franchise Systems Inc. in which each of CARSTAR’s shop locations will use ALLDATA Collision S3500 as their provider of OEM collision repair information.
ALLDATA Collision S3500 is a repair information system designed for the collision repair industry. The system provides users with OEM procedures such as sectioning and structural repairs, handling of new materials, and panel removal and replacement through a database of more than 32,000 vehicles. The system also provides diagnostic testing data and procedures for resetting and reprogramming electronic systems, vehicle-specific mechanical repair procedures, and technical service bulletins, according to ALLDATA.
"We are excited about the expansion with CARSTAR," said Wayne Mitchell, director of sales and operations for ALLDATA. "This agreement furthers our relationship while providing CARSTAR franchisees the most up-to-date and complete OEM repair information to streamline repair processes.”
All of CARSTAR’s shop locations in North America will now use the ALLDATA product. The company operates more than 400 locations throughout 31 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces.
