Nov. 15, 2011—The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) on Tuesday announced Gerber Collision & Glass joined its Industry Leadership Circle donor designation through a recent $10,000 donation to the organization.
The CREF said the donation will support its Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which provides scholarships and tool and equipment grants to secondary and post-secondary collision students nationwide.
“This donation is a display of Gerber’s commitment to the future professionals of the collision industry and is an investment in their technical education,” said Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer for Gerber Collision & Glass. “We are very pleased to be able to support the Collision Repair Education Foundation and look forward to partnering with them in the future to assist secondary and post-secondary collision students.”
“Thanks to Gerber Collision & Glass for joining the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s efforts to support collision school programs and their students,” said Scott Kruger, executive director of the CREF. “By increasing educational opportunities for these students, who are tomorrow’s industry professionals, the future will be brighter for all collision repair businesses.”
