Dec. 19, 2012—I-CAR on Tuesday announced that Esurance Insurance Services Inc. has earned its Gold Class Professionals designation at a corporate level.
I-CAR said the Gold Class designation signifies Esurance’s commitment to training and staying abreast of technological changes in the collision repair industry.
“I-CAR is thrilled that Esurance has achieved Gold Class status. This shows not only a commitment to training and employee development, but also a commitment to performance of complete and safe repairs for Esurance customers,” said John Van Alstyne, president and CEO of I-CAR.
The insurance company was first recognized as a Gold Class business in 2009, but now is recognized under more comprehensive training requirements through I-CAR’s Professional Development Program. I-CAR said the Professional Development Program has equipped Esurance’s appraisers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide more accurate estimates in order to improve cycle time, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
“We are pleased to join this elite network of Gold Class businesses,” said Joe Laurentino, vice president of material damage for Esurance, which provides auto insurance in 34 U.S. states. “The training provided by the [Professional Development Program] will benefit our appraiser staff and most importantly, Esurance customers.”
