Dec. 8, 2010—Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com recently announced the winners of its 2011 Best Resale Value Awards.

The top 10 2011 cars with the best resale value are:
• Audi A5;
• BMW X5;
• BMW X6;
• Honda CR-V;
• Jeep Wrangler;
• Lexus GX;
• Lexus RX;
• Toyota FJ Cruiser;
• Toyota Tacoma;
• Subaru Outback.

"While most car buyers today consider sticker price to be one of the most significant numbers when choosing a new vehicle, the editors at Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com recommend that shoppers consider a number they won't find today on any window sticker: its resale value,” said James Bell, executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com. “Depreciation often is the greatest expense incurred by drivers during the first five years of vehicle ownership. To get the most for their money, consumers should do some extra homework to ensure they make wise purchase decisions based on several key factors other than just the negotiated sale price."
