July 23, 2013

July 23, 2013—Polk and Schwartz Advisors have formed a marketing alliance that will allow the two providers of vehicle and aftermarket industry intelligence to better support clients.

The main focus of the relationship will be to better serve clients making critical decisions about their business based on accurate vehicles in operation (VIO) data, as well as to develop an understanding of trends and direction for the automotive aftermarket.

Polk and Schwartz Advisors will remain independent organizations. The strategic alliance will allow clients of both companies to access the respective resources and talent that both companies have to offer.

Southfield, Mich.–based Polk provides automotive information and marketing solutions through its registration-based VIO information database. Schwartz Advisors assists private equity firms and aftermarket companies on strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions topics.

“Polk is known for providing clients with informed and accurate information that has a direct impact on their bottom line. The Schwartz Advisors team includes some of the most respected names in the aftermarket, and we look forward to working with them on future projects,” said Mark Seng, global aftermarket practice leader for Polk. “This is a win-win for the clients of both organizations.”
