April 27, 2011 — Caliber Collision Centers has donated $5,000 to a charity that helps active military service members cope with the stresses of everyday life.
The organization, called Faith for Soldiers, was founded a service member and his wife after the shootings at Fort Hood, Texas in November of 2009. Caliber Collision presented the check to founders Sgt. 1st Class Terry Mason and his wife Tina at the Caliber Collision Killeen, Texas location Wednesday
"On any given day, we're working with 10 military families," Terry Mason said. “We provide emotional support, facilitate domestic interventions and provide all sorts of other tangibles like meals and clothing.”
“We are continuing our support of Terry and Tina Mason’s Faith for Soldiers organization in 2011 with a $5,000 donation because there is a huge need among active military families for help with injury, personal tragedy or the death of a spouse or child,” said Caliber Collision CEO Steve Grimshaw.
