Collision Revision acquires new center in Chicago

Jan. 6, 2011

Jan. 6, 2011 — Chicago-based repair center operator Collision Revision announced Wednesday that it acquired Cal’s Collision Center, a local family-owned shop.

Cal’s Collision spans 15,000 square feet and has served southwest Chicago for 56 years.

“Cal’s Collision Center is one of the premier body shops in the city of Chicago known for their commitment to a high quality repair and incredible customer experience,” said Brandon Thomas, vice president of acquisitions for Collision Revision.

Thomas said the shop would keep its existing employees.

Charles Mueller, the previous owner of Cal’s Collision, said selling the shop was a difficult decision.

“It wasn’t easy to sell the business that my family built over 50 years, but I’m confident that our customers will be extremely happy with Collision Revision because of their standards of excellence,” Mueller said.

Collision Revision, founded in 1976, is also family-run. The company operates collision centers in Illinois, Indiana and Florida and is always looking for expansion opportunities. For more information, visit collisionrevision.com.
