EstimateScrubber.com offers photo documentation software

Jan. 31, 2012

Jan. 31, 2012—VehicleOwnersGuide.com on Monday announced that users of its Estimate Scrubber portal, EstimateScrubber.com, now have access to free photo documentation software.

Steven Siessman, president of VehicleOwnersGuide.com, said the photo documentation software is an automated system that uses computers and cameras to document vehicle photos. Users can print a barcode, shoot a photo of the barcode, and take photos of damaged vehicles. The program extracts images from a camera's memory card and automatically moves them to the correct repair order and archive folder.

Siessman said people who do not use EstimateScrubber.com are able to purchase a subscription for the software for $840 a year.

“Now our collision repair users can manage the photograph documentation process, review estimates for non-included items, review DEG database inquiries, create consumer friendly estimate summaries and e-market to consumers at no cost to themselves, plus receive free and promotional products from participating industry suppliers,” Siessman said. “It’s a win-win for repairers and vendors alike. Shops receive valuable software that helps them be more profitable, and vendors can reach those shops directly in their workflow, not as an afterthought.”
