Nov. 14, 2012

Nov. 14, 2012—Cooks Collision, a multiple shop operation (MSO) based in California, on Tuesday opened a new location in Redwood City, Calif.

Cooks Collision’s new shop marks its 28th location in California. The 11,000-square-foot facility will serve California’s Silicon Valley communities, including San Carlos, San Mateo, Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Belmont.

“Cooks opened its first location in Redwood City in 1979, not far from this new location. It’s an amazing full-circle experience for my brother Rick and I to expand in Redwood City and to serve the dynamic Silicon Valley area,” said Don Wood, co-CEO of Cooks Collision. “We plan to continue our expansion in Silicon Valley with the addition of new locations.”

Cooks Collision has opened 10 new collision repair facilities throughout the past year. The company now operates 22 locations in Northern California, and six locations in Southern California.
