3M launches prize sweepstakes

Feb. 2, 2012—3M this week launched a sweepstakes called “Your Ticket to the Track" that will award users of certain 3M professional refinish products with instant prizes and a chance to win VIP prize packages.

3M said customers who are employees of collision repair or restoration facilities are eligible to win instant and VIP prizes when they purchase selected 3M products that are marked with the “Your Ticket to the Track” sticker. Selected products include 3M Platinum Plus Filler & Glaze, Scotch Performance Masking Tape 233+, 3M PPS & Accuspray products, 3M abrasive products, 3M paint finishing products and 3M Worker Safety Kits.

3M said its customers are eligible to win the following instant prizes: 3M sunglasses, 3M racing backpacks, Sunoco and Best Buy gift cards, toolbox refrigerators, No. 16 3M Ford Fusion diecast cars, Goodyear tires, 3M PPS 10th anniversary polo shirts, No. 16 3M Racing hats, No. 16 3M Racing coolers, 3M PPS SUN GUN Color Matching Light, and 3M ELITE SERIES Random Orbital Sander.

3M’s VIP prize packages include experiences at NASCAR events. Prize winners will receive round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, VIP tours and tickets to the following events: NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Summer Race, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pre-Fall Race, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Fall Race and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champions Week.

In addition, 3M said it will award 10 prize winners with 10 months worth of free 3M PPS products for their collision repair shop in honor of the 10th anniversary of the product line.
