Jan. 30, 2012—DuPont Performance Coatings is now accepting entries for its 2013 calendar competition.

DuPont said owners of vehicles that are painted with DuPont Refinish, Hot Hues or Cromax Pro products can enter the competition. Entries can be motorized passenger automobiles, trucks or motorcycles.

DuPont said the competition will be judged based on the best use of color, including finish quality, technical difficulty and design originality. Each of the 12 winners, who will be notified by May 7, will receive a $500 cash prize. DuPont will also select one grand prize winner, who will receive an additional $2,000 cash prize and be featured on the cover of the calendar.

All winners will have a professional photo shoot of their vehicle, and will receive 35 copies of the 2013 DuPont Refinish calendar, according to DuPont.

DuPont said participants in the competition must be at least 18 years old, and legal residents of the United States or Canada. Participants must own or have finished the vehicle entered into the competition.

Registration for the competition is due April 30. Entries can be made for free online by visiting customfinishescalendar.dupont.com. Participants must complete the competition registration form and upload two photos of their vehicle. Participants are able to submit more than one vehicle into the competition, but each vehicle must be entered separately.
