May 14, 2012—, an e-commerce platform of, is now allowing parts suppliers to present coupons to U.S. and Canadian shops when they review estimates on

The company also announced that is now free to use for collision repair shops in Australia and the United Kingdom.

“Coupons have been around for a long time, are well understood, and work well,” said Steven Siessman, president of, which operates both and  “We’ve expanded the e-parts platform so suppliers can offer coupons to repairers for specific items on specific jobs. What we like about coupons is they are simple to understand, simple to use and don’t require additional work responding to electronic request for quotes or auctions.”

The coupons for use have individual serial numbers; they have an expiration date and are good for particular items, according to a news release_notes. Suppliers can create coupon offers and present them to repairers during the scrubbing process. Repairers print and use them during the parts-ordering process.

“We are equally excited to begin our expansion to (international) markets. Collision repairers can use our system to search for needed parts or list their parts wish list for free. This presents an opportunity for repairers in one market to more easily source hard to find parts,” Siessman said. “The system makes it easier for collision repairers to expand their parts search to other collision repairers on three continents.”
