July 8, 2013—The Boyd Group Inc. on Monday announced the opening of a new collision repair center in Newnan, Ga., near Atlanta.
The Boyd Group’s new 12,500-square-foot repair facility, previously known as Shenandoah Collision Center, will operate under its Gerber Collision & Glass trade name.
With this acquisition, the Boyd Group now operates 14 collision repair centers in Georgia, and 187 throughout 14 U.S. states.
"This new addition to the Boyd Group is indicative of our commitment to our strategy to achieve 6–10 percent growth in number of centers through single-location additions,” said Tim O'Day, president and chief operations officer of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "We continue to look for opportunities to expand within our current markets and will continue to capitalize on accretive opportunities."
