June 25, 2013

June 25, 2013—PPG Automotive Refinish has added its new Ditzler Hot Rod Black topcoat to its Vibrance Collection product line, the company announced Tuesday.

PPG said the new topcoat uses two-component, single-stage technology that provides a uniform, low gloss black finish designed to replicate classic street rods and muscle cars.

“It’s the perfect option for anyone wanting that retro road presence. Ditzler Hot Rod Black delivers a streetwise appearance in a product that’s easy to spray and is [VOC] compliant for all regions,” said Jennifer Boros, segment manager of solvent borne brands for PPG.
