ALLDATA enhances Collision S3500 software

July 5, 2011

July 5, 2011 — ALLDATA has updated its Collision S3500 software to include at-a-glance views of specific OE repair information related to individual entries on an estimate, the company announced Tuesday.

Collision S3500’s “Estimate Integration” is the only program of its type with such capabilities, according to ALLDATA. It is meant to reduce cycle times, supplements and outsourced work. Collision S3500 also includes complete mechanical repair procedures and updated technical service bulletins and recall notices.

“By automatically providing OE repair information that is relevant to the estimate, it offers the potential to save an enormous amount of time throughout all areas of a shop,” said Dan Espersen, ALLDATA senior collision program manager. “The estimator does not have to look up repair information or wonder if an OE procedure exists for the estimate line item.”

ALLDATA provides manufacturer service and repair information, shop management software and customer relations tools for the automotive and collision repair industries. For more information, go to alldata.com.
