June 10, 2013—Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting and the Driven Brands Charitable Foundation recently raised more than $100,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia during the fourth annual Maaco Charitable Golf Tournament at Spring Ford Country Club in Royersford, Pa.

Maaco said several industry vendors spearheaded the fundraising effort through cash donations as well as product donations sold during an auction at the event. Participating vendors included Audatex, Saint Gobain, Mitchell, Yodle, Axalta Coating Systems, FinishMaster, Pitch, PPG and Sherwin-Williams.

Maaco said proceeds raised during the golf event will be used to help fund pediatric transplant surgeries.

"Being a supportive part of our communities is a big part of who we are—it comes with the paint," said Jose Costa, president of King of Prussia, Pa.–based Maaco.
