Sept. 30, 2013—The Collision Repair Education Foundation and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) are collaborating to help provide school counselors with additional information about the collision industry and the various career opportunities for their students.
In addition to distributing information such as the newly updated Snapshot of the Collision Repair Industry Survey, foundation representatives will attend their annual conference and help inform school counselors of the many scholarship and grant opportunities made available by the Education Foundation.
“We would like to thank the ASCA for working with us on these initiatives and are excited to collaborate with their nationwide membership of school counselors,” said Brandon Eckenrode, Collision Repair Education Foundation director of development. “The $35 billion dollar automotive collision industry has many career opportunities for students, and we look forward to helping to provide additional information to ASCA’s members who are working directly with the students when deciding the initial steps of their young professional career.”
“ASCA is pleased to work with the Collision Repair Education Foundation to provide school counselors with the most current information about the collision industry so students can make informed decisions about all of the opportunities available to them after high school,” said Jill Cook, assistant director of ASCA.
