LKQ to Hold Open House in Washington State

Aug. 1, 2013

August 1, 2013—LKQ Corporation will hold an open house of its newly renovated facility in Buckley, Wash., on Sept. 11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LKQ will provide a barbecue lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and provide tours of the new property and dismantling plant.

The property, located at 28520 State Route 410 E., was previously Walt and Vern’s Salvage Yard, and Parts and People Northwest Edition previously reported that LKQ has invested $2.5 million in the facility.

“This facility will improve the quality of our parts and reduce potential damage incurred by transportation from other LKQ facilities outside of Washington,” said Cory Anderson, general manager of the Buckley recycling plant and the Renton Keystone Automotive Aftermarket warehouse.
