PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jan. 17, 2014—Paul Massie, powertrain and collision product manager for Ford Motor Co.'s customer service division, discussed Ford's all-aluminum 2015 F-150 Friday at the Collision Industry Conference in Palm Springs, Calif.

Massie said that beginning with the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey's NORTHEAST Automotive Services Show, to be held March 21-23 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J, Ford will present a "vehicle in white" to demonstrate the structural components of the new vehicle.

Massie said example of the equipment and parts needed to properly repair the vehicles will also be made available. Massie noted that Ford will not require shops to have separate aluminum clean rooms partioned off with cinder blocks, but instead recommends the use of curtains.

Massie said that further announcements about training that Ford has developed with I-CAR will also be made during that time.

After NORTHEAST, Massie said a similar presenteation will be rolled out at Industry Week and SEMA.
