Oct. 18, 2011—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) on Tuesday announced it will offer six free educational sessions for attendees at the 2011 SEMA Show.
The educational sessions will be held at the Collision Repair & Refinish Stage in the North Hall of the SEMA Show. The specific sessions that will be offered are as follows:
• “More Than One Way to Skin a...Door”: Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 from 12-12:45 p.m.
• “Charley Hutton Discussion and Q&A”: Nov. 2 from 2-3 p.m.
• “A Riveting Experience—Structural riveting and bonding techniques and tools”: Nov. 2 from 4-4:45 p.m., and Nov. 4 from 1-1:45 p.m.
• “Social Studies—A panel discussion on social media in your business”: Nov. 3 from 10-10:45 a.m.
"Our Education Committee's mission is to develop instructional content and materials that are used at SCRS meetings to better educate our membership in areas that will assist them in improving their business,” said Paul Val, Education Committee chairman for the SCRS. "Having the SEMA Show as an added forum to communicate the information developed by the committee is a tremendous opportunity, and we are thrilled to add to the volume of information already available at this year's show."
Participants must be registered to attend the 2011 SEMA Show in order to attend SCRS’ free educational sessions.
The 2011 SEMA Show is scheduled for Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas.
