Allstate, Sterling Autobody Continue to Partner for Recycled Rides

Nov. 26, 2013

Nov. 26, 2013—Allstate Insurance Company and Sterling Autobody Centers plan to donate 18 newly refurbished automobiles through the National Auto Body Council's (NABC) Recycled Rides Program. Most of the donations will be made during the upcoming holiday season.

Together, the companies have donated more than 160 cars in the last six years to organizations and families in need. Sterling shops in more than 10 states (California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah) have restored the vehicles.

"Reliable transportation is something many of us take for granted," said Sterling’s president Nick Notte. "We are proud to offer our time and resources to transform lives and touch families and organizations across the country. While the gift of a vehicle provides a practical means of transportation, what it really provides is hope."

Recycled Rides donation events happened simultaneously on Nov. 25 in Placentia, Calif., Centennial, Colo.; Thornton, Colo.; Columbus, Ohio; and Midvale, Utah.

Events in Tampa, Fla.; Lawrenceville, Ga.; Chicago, Ill.; Rockford, Ill.; and Laredo, Texas, are scheduled for December.
