Jan. 12, 2011 — The Collision Repair Education Foundation’s $50,000 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant is once again available to secondary and post-secondary collision programs.
Schools can use the grant, made possible through industry donations, to pay for tools, supplies and other needs. An application is available on the foundation’s website. Applications are due Aug. 31, but interested schools are encouraged to apply early because of the information required.
The winner of the grant will be announced at SEMA 2011. Bridgerland Applied Technology College in Logan, Utah, won the grant last year. Steel Center Area Vocational Technical School in Jefferson Hills, Pa., won it in 2009.
