AkzoNobel Details 2014 North American Performance Group meeting

Jan. 17, 2014—AkzoNobel announced Thursday that it will welcome Acoat Selected members, distributors, and special guests to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Feb. 12–14, for the winter 2014 North American Performance Group (NAPG) meeting.

The winter gathering is one of two national meetings held each year under the AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat Selected umbrella.

“We are pleased to be able to share this special time in our business history as well as this extraordinary location with this elite group of business professionals,” said Barry Rinehart, AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings North American business services manager. “Many that will join us have been part of the AkzoNobel family from our earliest days. Their longevity is a proof statement to the value that this program provides.”

Some of the events provided at the meeting are an industry update by Greg Horn of Mitchell International, and a number of presentations by local shops like Oka’s Auto Body, FIT Sustainability Award winners.

AkzoNobel is a global paints and coatings company, and a major producer of specialty chemicals.
