AASP/NJ sets date for annual golf fundraiser

May 9, 2011

May 9, 2011 — The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey’s (AASP/NJ) seventh annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing is set for May 23 at Colonia Country Club in Colonia, N.J.

The goal of the event is to raise money for the Lou Scoras Scholarship Fund. Scoras was a longtime AASP/NJ member.

“As I have said many times, Lou gave so much of himself and his time to our industry,” said Charles Bryant, executive director of AASP/NJ. “This outing keeps his memory alive while also helping future repairers further their education. It always is a special event.”

Bryant said he expects more than 100 players and dozens of spectators to attend the event. For more information on the golf outing and AASP/NJ, go to aaspnj.org.
