Dec. 16, 2011—H&V Collision Centers partnered with GEICO and Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany to donate a refurbished vehicle to a local family in need of transportation, the company announced Thursday.

The receiving family has a child who is currently dealing with a major illness, and the new vehicle will help them care for the issue, H&V Collision Centers said.

H&V Collision Centers will present a refurbished van to the family Dec. 22 at one of its facilities in Troy, N.Y. Local elected officials are also expected to attend the event.

H&V Collision Centers is a three-shop operation with locations in Troy, Queensbury and Colonie, N.Y. For more information, visit handvcollision.com.
