Keenan Auto Body raises nearly $24,000 for charity

June 20, 2011

June 20, 2011 — Keenan Auto Body, Inc., a multi-shop business based in Clifton Heights, Pa., recently raised $23,850 at its 13th annual Charity Golf Outing.

The money went to Little Smiles, a volunteer organization that assists children in need throughout the Philadelphia area.

“Deciding what charity would be the best fit for this year’s outing was a no brainer,” said Craig Camacho, Keenan Auto Body’s Marketing Director. “The folks who drive the charity are amazing. They all have jobs and careers but somehow find the time to bring smiles to the faces of children throughout Philadelphia.”

Keenan’s has already decided to make Little Smiles the benefactor of its 2012 event, set for June 7. The company has raised nearly $225,000 during the last 13 for various charities.

“Without the support of our industry partners events like these would not be possible,” Camacho said. “I want to personally and sincerely thank everyone that played a part in this year’s outing.”

Joseph Keenan founded Keenan Auto Body in 1952 and his son, Donald Keenan, acquired it in 1979. For more information, go to keenanautobody.com.
