Jan. 6, 2011 — Cathy Mills, a 25-year veteran in the collision industry, on Jan. 1 became the first executive director of the Florida Autobody Collision Alliance (FACA).
Mills has managed multiple shops and has experience as an administrator and trainer.
“It is such a privilege to have this opportunity to be the first executive director of FACA,” Mills said. “I am both honored and flattered to serve on behalf of all of Florida’s collision repairers and our affiliate members.”
Mills will take on the day-to-day task of coordinating information between the alliance’s six chapters, said Dave McBroom, president of the FACA state executive board. FACA’s goal is to educate, inform and represent collision repair professionals in all aspects of the industry. For more information on the organization, go to facafl.org.
