Boyd Group appoints new board member

Nov. 26, 2012—The Boyd Group Income Fund recently appointed Robert Gross to its board of trustees. 

The Boyd Group said Gross brings extensive management experience to the company. He most recently served for more than 12 years as CEO and board member for Monro Muffler Brake Inc., including nearly five years as chairman of the board. Prior to that, Gross served as chairman and CEO of Tops Appliance City Inc., and president and chief operating officer of Eye Care Centers of America Inc.

"We are very pleased to have Rob join our board,” said Al Davis, independent chair of the Boyd Group’s board of trustees. "Rob's deep and solid management experience as chief executive officer at Monro, a multi-location automotive service business in the United States, alongside other past senior management and board positions, makes him a valued addition to the Fund. We look forward to and welcome his contribution to the Boyd Group's continued success as the North American leader in automobile collision repair."
