Nov. 1, 2010—FenderBender will be at the Specialty Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) 2010 with live coverage of the events.
FenderBender’s website, fenderbender.com, will have videos, stories and a live Twitter feed with updates from SEMA.

SEMA 2010 will be held Nov. 2-5 in Las Vegas. Nearly 2,000 exhibitors and more than 120,000 people are expected to be in attendance.

This is the first year since 2003 that SEMA will be its own, standalone event. NACE had been held in conjunction with SEMA from 2004 through 2009.

SEMA introduced the paint, body, and equipment (PB&E) segment to the show in 2009. SEMA has continued to move in on the collision repair territory for its 2010 show, expanding from its typical aftermarket focus.

Peter MacGillivray, vice president of events and communication for SEMA, says exhibitors for the PB&E section have increased to more than 100 companies this year, up from 17 in 2009.

SEMA has also expanded its educational offerings. According to Della Domingo, SEMA public relations director, there will be more than 50 educational sessions offered at SEMA on business efficiency, business management, customer service and sales solutions, industry trends and forecasts, marketing and online marketing.

“We’ve worked to make sure the education is better than it has ever been, particularly for the PB&E attendees,” MacGillivray said. “We have a commitment to over-deliver this year.”
