September 29, 2010—Sterling Autobody Centers announced on Wednesday that all 62 of its shops have completed the conversion to waterborne paints.
Sterling began the transition in June of this year, according to a press release_notes.
“Repairing vehicles today with tomorrow in mind is a commitment Sterling is proud to lead within our industry. The environmentally-sound decision to convert our locations from a solventborne to a waterborne system is simply the right thing to do,” said Nick Notte, president of Sterling. “It not only enables us to provide our customers with the highest quality of repairs, but it is one of the many ways we are reducing our ecological footprint.”
