September 28, 2010—California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed the Airbag Fraud Bill on Sept. 24.

Similar to the Rhode Island bill that was passed earlier this month and the Pennsylvania bill proposed earlier this month, the California bill would punish those who act fraudulently with airbag installation and use, but would not forbid the recovery of used airbags, according to an ASA press release_notes.
