Collision Centers of America donates $18,000 to education foundation

June 21, 2011

June 21, 2011 — Collision Centers of America has joined the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Industry Leadership Circle through an $18,000 donation, the foundation recently announced.

The money will support the foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which allows the organization to support secondary and post-secondary collision students through scholarships and grants for tools and equipment. The foundation’s $50,000 school makeover grant is included in the fund.

“Increasing demands on KPI’S and SOP’S require a high level of education at all levels of the collision repair industry”, said David Mulder, president and founder of Collision Centers of America. “That is why industry professionals must support organizations that provide education to the collision industry. We are protecting our future by ensuring technicians and management staff have every available opportunity to learn and grow.”

Scott Kruger, executive director of the foundation, said the contribution is an investment in the entire industry.

“By increasing educational opportunities for these students, who are tomorrow’s industry professionals, the future will be brighter for all segments,” he said.

Kruger encouraged other industry organizations and individuals to join the Industry Leadership Circle, which recognizes extraordinary commitment to investing in the future of the industry. Interested donors should contact Brandon Eckenrode, associate director of development for the foundation, at [email protected].
