Lincoln Electric Releases Multi-Purpose Glove

Oct. 31, 2013

Oct. 31, 2013—Lincoln Electric has introduced a new glove that delivers complete hand protection for both welding and rigging, the company announced Wednesday, eliminating the need for a separate pair of gloves for each task.

The Roll Cage Welding and Rigging Gloves, also ideal for cutting and grinding, are constructed with durable fire-resistant cowhide and sewn with Kevlar thread. They are enhanced with segmented, high-temperature-resistant silicon pads for knuckle protection. The finger-structure design enhances grip and durability.

The gloves offer numerous safety features including a protective overlay on the palm that reinforces high-wear areas, an inside lining to protect against cuts and a longer-length cuff that guards wrists and forearms against heat and sparks. Fire-resistant Velcro wrist guards secure the gloves, while allowing for quick removal.
