Numbers: The Advantage of All Parts at Once?

About a third of shops say they require all parts to arrive at the same time for a given job. Is it worth it?

According to the 2021 FenderBender Industry Survey, roughly a third of responding shops, 30 percent, require all parts for a given job to arrive at once. Such a policy seems like it could lead to greater efficiency, though that isn’t borne out by the survey by any large KPI gains for that 30 percent of shops, including when it comes to supplement ratios, touch time, and key-to-key cycle time:
