Audatex acquires NewEra Software

Feb. 2, 2011 — Software and service provider Audatex North America announced Wednesday it purchased NewEra Software, which specializes in body shop management systems.

Audatex said the acquisition allows it to deliver more high-value services to its collision repair customers, improving their management of operations and administrative activities with vendors, insurers and customers.

“The NewEra body shop management system, AutoFocus, will be a key offering in our body shop suite of products, and underscores our commitment to bringing essential and value added products and services to our customers,” said Elias Olmeta, chief financial and operating officer of Audatex North America.

Audatex serves more than 12,000 collision repair customers and provides claims solutions across six continents.
