SEMA: SCRS to sponsor collision repair education seminars

Oct. 1, 2010

October 1, 2010—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists will sponsor the Repairer Driven Education (RDE) at the 2010 SEMA Show.

Never before has SEMA had an education track just for collision repairers, which will feature 21 seminars featuring steering, lean principles, repairing modern vehicles, social media and the EPA 6H Rule, according to the SEMA website.

"Unless you yourself are the one pounding the metal, sanding, painting and detailing, your success and the success of the business depends on the performance of others," said Charles Coonradt, keynote speaker for RDE. "The classes being presented within the RDE program deal with the 'nuts and bolts' of the day-to-day scenarios facing the industry and the specific skill sets required in the repair of the vehicle.

RDE registrants will have the option of attending six seminars on Nov. 4 and 5 during SEMA. The cost is $225 if registered before Oct. 17. For more information, go to semashow.com.
