SCRS to cover membership costs for collision repair schools

Nov. 15, 2010

Nov. 15, 2010—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) announced on Monday that it will cover membership costs for schools that offer a collision repair program and wish to join the SCRS.

The offer is effective immediately upon the school’s completion of the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s online School Solutions Survey, according to an SCRS press release_notes. The survey is used to track enrollment, placement, personnel, facilities and equipment.

"SCRS wants to do everything it can to encourage and foster these programs. Paying for the memberships of these schools shows our commitment in a tangible, meaningful way," said Paul Val, SCRS Education Committee chairman.
