Dec. 4, 2019—EVgo has joined with the California Energy Commission and Nissan to celebrate the new EVgo fast charging hub at the County Fair Fashion Mall in Woodland, Calif.

The new station is one of five that EVgo is building on behalf of the CEC as part of the West Coast Electric Highway, providing a connection between California's northern and southern corridors, and also features two of the 200 high-powered DC fast chargers that will be installed jointly by EVgo in partnership with Nissan across the country. In total, the Williams location includes a total of five EVgo chargers.

EVgo is fulfilling its commitment to build a total of five sites as part of the West Coast Electric Highway along the I-5 and the I-99, spanning 130 Miles between Sacramento and Red Bluff, Calif.

In August 2019, Nissan and EVgo announced their commitment to install 200 new fast-chargers capable of delivering 100kW.
