Dec. 2, 2019— Fiat Chrysler and the United Auto Workers union have reached a tentative deal on a new labor contract, according to a report from CNBC.

Last week the UAW turned its attention to Fiat Chrysler – the last of the Detroit automakers it needs to seal a new contract with in 2019.

While a final agreement is likely a week or two away, the UAW Bargaining Committee agreed to a deal with Fiat Chrysler to add $4.5 billion in investments, translating to 7,900 jobs over the course of a four-year deal.
