Sept. 9, 2019—Representing the 84th House of Delegates District in the Virginia General Assembly, Delegate Glenn Davis, will present at a CIECA conference.
Davis serves on the Education, Transportation and General Laws committees. He also serves as vice chairman of the Joint Commission on Technology and Science.Delegate Davis carried and passed the first of its kind legislation, allowing motion video in view of the driver while not actively performing driving tasks. This legislation resulted in additional private investments into the Commonwealth related to autonomous vehicle research and development.
During his CIECA CONNEX presentation, he will share his thoughts about the legislative fine line between ensuring public safety and impeding innovation.
CIECA CONNEX will be held Sept. 16-18 at the Omni Charlottesville Hotel in Charlottesville, Va.
