GM Appoints Global CMO After 7 Years

General Motors appoints its first global chief marketing officer since 2012.

Sept. 6, 2019—General Motors (GM) has appointed former Cadillac marketing boss Deborah Wahl to the job of global chief marketing officer (CMO), per a report by CNET.

This is GM's first CMO since 2012.

Wahl previously worked at McDonald's and before that she served as CMO at Chrysler for one year. She has also spent time at Lexus, Lincoln-Mercury and Toyota.
