Brake Parts Inc. VP to Address Industry Gathering

Aug. 15, 2019—Brake Parts Inc LLC (BPI) recently announced that Dr. HT Chang, vice president of product development, engineering, R&D and quality, is scheduled to host a technical panel discussion session during the annual SAE International Brake Colloquium & Exhibition taking place in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 22-25.

The panel session titled, “Additional Testing/Validation Considerations with Re-gen Braking,” will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10:20 a.m. The panel will include auto experts from companies such as Toyota and General Motors. 

The panel will have a broad discussion surrounding the electrification, system differential with re-gen braking, and help the brake system/components suppliers to align testing specs with market needs, and further identify the technical areas to focus on. Each panelist will share their vision with the industry and provide insight of numerous technical challenges the brake industry needs to focus on.
