PCNA and dealerships invest in technician training in parallel to the manufacturer's model lineup expanding from combustion engines to include hybrids, and soon the fully electric Taycan, and the required skill set for technicians has grown accordingly. The purpose of PTAP is to create a foundation of brand commitment and knowledge that will help serve customers.

Students are taught by Instructors that are also Porsche Master Level Technicians, and a typical day in PTAP begins at 7 a.m. in one of three different locations: Easton, Pa., Eastvale, Calif., and the PCNA headquarters in Atlanta.
